This origami bird was folded from a 6″ x 6″ origami paper, starting with a fish base. But it’s not really what I intend to fold. If you invert the model, you’ll see a diferent figure, the one I was aiming at…

… a baby elephant!

The two-color model below is folded starting with a blintzed fish base.
