white flower

In Flowers on July 5, 2011 by romi

This flower model is made of only one square paper that is white on one side and green on the other. It is inspired by the first fish scale design discussed by Robert J. Lang in his book Origami Design Secrets. The first  couple of steps in folding the flower is to make a strip across the middle of the paper horizontally and then vertically. This creates a square in the middle of the paper. You then fold each corner of the square into the aforementioned fish scale form but without sinking the tip.
