elegant wallet

In Other models on January 4, 2012 by romi

This origami wallet has double pocket for the bills, and four pcokets for credit cards and similar plastics, or for receipts, cedulas, small photos, etc.  Two of these pockets make up the white portion of the wallet as shown in left photo.  They are  a good place to store important cards because aside from being able to hide them completely, they can also keep them from falling off.  The color change and the diagonal edge of the card pockets that create the V-shape also give the wallet an elegant look.

One thing more: there’s actually a rectangular flap tucked  inside the bill pocket. The flap can be taken out and folded in the opposite way to serve as cover for the card pockets, thus fully securing the cards and other things you put there.

I designed and folded this model using a 17″ x 17″ square cut from a gift wrapping paper.  I’m looking for a stronger material with good design to fold one that can serve as an excellent and lasting gift.
