‘Every generation, indeed every person who folds,
has made a contribution to origami.’

– Sok Song in his book Crease + Fold (2010)

The rabbit is one very popular subject in origami.
Robert Lang has a rabbit model folded from a grafted kite base.
David Brill’s design starts from a cupboard base, and has a nice twisted head.
Jun Maekawa folded his rabbit starting with a blintz base.
Sok Song’s Alan the Bunny is folded starting with the classic pig base.
And then there’s that cute rabbit composed of two blown-up units which are folded starting with the waterbomb base. You’ll find this in Ashley Wood’s ‘The Origami Artist’s Bible’.

For my model shown below, I used a blintz base.
