Briefly, the procedure for folding this model is as follows:

1. Border-graft the paper. The width of the “extra paper” is 1/8 of the original width of the square paper.
2. On one corner of the paper, petal-fold the “extra paper” as you do in a bird base.Ths will be part of the tail.
3. On the opposite corner, fold the “extra paper” into a fish base. This is the head part, The other corners/flaps will be the wings,
4. Fold the paper as if you are making the classic flapping bird.
5. Form the legs by shaping the bottom part of the model.
6. Form the head, The rabbit ears of the little fish base will serve as the ears.
7. Shape the tail.
