box from a rectangular paper

In Boxes on July 30, 2012 by romi

Among the very popular origami models which I learned when I was a kid — the boat, hat and airplane — are folded from a rectangular paper, rather than a square.

Here’s one that I created from an A4 paper. But I thought that, instead of posting the folded model itself, it would be more fun if I post the crease pattern and let you do the folding. Remember: dash line means you valley fold, while dash-and-dot line is mountain fold.

You may want to post your folded box here. 🙂
