horse from an equilateral triangle

horse2 horse

I folded the horse model on the right from a square paper that was first folded into an equilateral triangle. It looked so simple to me, so I tried something else. I first strip-grafted a square paper (cut from a magazine page),  folded it into an equilateral triangle and then made it into a horse in the same way I folded the model on the right. The result is, I believe, a better-looking horse, with a mane and a much larger tail. 🙂
