two-color dragon

My earlier dragon models are folded starting with either the bird base or the fish base. For the model above, however, I used a different nontraditional base, which looks like a modified bird base as shown below.

This model was folded in the same way as the baby dragon I posted earlier, except on the head and neck part. Here the neck is made shorter and the chest is prominent. The dragon is baby no more. 🙂

This is the fifth transformation of my fish base dragon. For this model, I employed strip grafting again, but this time the strip is much wider. The technique gave ‘extra’ paper for the rear feet and the body. The wings have become relatively smaller while the head has become bigger, making the model look like a baby dragon.
